This course is arranged together with the courses Economics AL00CE32, International business law AL00CE33 and Financial accounting AL00CE36. You will make one large case assignment that covers all these four courses. This will be a group work, and the groups remain same for all four courses. More detailed instructions are given for participants when the courses start. Lectures are held at the campus and are not recorded.

Sisältö

During the course, we will go through the basics of supply chain management. You will understand the meaning of logistics and SC management, and how do they affect the profitability of any company. On this course, you will get an oversight of the interesting world of logistics. We will not dive deep into any topic, but this course acts as ground for more advanced courses.

After the course, the student is able to
- describe the supply network entity and understand its role in a company’s profitability
- use the methods applied in the development and monitoring of a supply network

The course contains lectures, workshops, topics to discuss in lectures, searching for materials from sources, and presentations of group or individual work.
Punctuality: Arrive on time for lectures. Check TimeEdit for your lecture schedule and follow it. Attendance registration will be done on Moodle at the beginning of each class using the Moodle Attendance tool. Late entry to the classroom will be treated as equivalent to absence.
This implementation is only for the group LLTIIB23S.

Requirement: To complete the course successfully, you must attend at least 80% of the lectures.
Consequence: If you fall below the 80% attendance requirement, you will be unenrolled from the course.
Absence must be informed to the teacher.
