Student is able to

-use basic concepts of logistics and supply chain management.
- the principles of value chain formation.
- identify the impact of logistics and supply chains on the company's profitability and competitiveness.
- describe the importance of customer orientation and stakeholder cooperation throughout the supply chain.

Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät

The course contains lectures, workshops, topics to discuss in lectures, searching for materials from sources, and presentations of group or individual work.
Punctuality: Arrive on time for lectures. Check TimeEdit for your lecture schedule and follow it. Attendance registration will be done on Moodle at the beginning of each class using the Moodle Attendance tool. Late entry to the classroom will be treated as equivalent to absence.
This implementation is only for the group LLTIIB23S.

Ajoitus ja läsnäolo

Requirement: To complete the course successfully, you must attend at least 80% of the lectures.
Consequence: If you fall below the 80% attendance requirement, you will be unenrolled from the course.
Absence must be informed to the teacher.

Oppimateriaali ja suositeltava kirjallisuus

Slides from lectures will be provided to Moodle.
All assignments are compulsory in order to pass the course. Assignments are individual and group work, some of the work will be presented in lectures.

Arviointimenetelmät

Group work and individual work will be graded either pass/fail or with grades 0-5. Activity in lectures has a positive effect on grades. Assignment Deadline Policy: Late submissions will not be accepted.
