Learning outcomes
Student
- Understands the principles of Lean philosophy
- Is able to identify the benefits of the different Lean methodologies and knows how to apply them to business process development
- Understands the principles of a culture of continuous improvement and is able to promote a culture of continuous improvement in an organization.
- Is able to use Lean problem-solving methods to implement change
Implementation and methods of teaching
Lean: towards a culture of continuous improvement and smooth processes course will be delivered as online lectures via Zoom.
In addition to the lectures, the course includes a pre-assignment and practical exercises carried out independently. As a final project, the student will implement a continuous improvement project using Lean methods and reflecting on his/her own learning.
