Learning outcomes

The students understand the basic knowledge of robotics and its limitations. They can also apply these skills to practical situations. The students can use a robot as a part of automation.

Blended learning, problem based learning, simulations based learning, practical assembly work in the lab.

Contents

The students understand the basic knowledge of robotics and its limitations. They can also apply these skills to practical situations. The students can use a robot as a part of automation.

Programming Festo robot with Ciros virtual model. Practical training with Festo robot.

Failing to reach the level of one according to the evaluation criteria.

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)

The student is able to do exercises in the Festo Ciros virtual programming environment, but needs a lot of guidance. The student has challenges to program the Festo robot system.

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

The student is able to program a Festo robot system and is able to use some of its features. The student needs guidance in completing some tasks. The student is also familiar with the Festo Ciros virtual programming environment.

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

The student is able to program the Festo robot system fluently and is able to use flexible system features. The student is well acquainted with the Festo Ciros virtual programming environment and performs tasks independently.
