Learning outcomes

Learn about professional marketing communications and sales, and their linkage to the company strategy.
Learn planning of successful marketing communications strategy, get knowledge of marketing communication and the different features of marketing communications tools. Learn about personal selling and the selling process. Steps of a typical selling process.

Implementation and methods of teaching

The course consists of lectures, contact classes primarily in-class and group assignments on the case company.

Timing and attendance

Classes are taking place approx. 12 times. During these sessions marketing communication on the case company will be processed. Participation is required.

Learning material and recommended literature

Lecture materials plus materials gathered by the students.

Course focuses on planning and executing company X's marketing communication.

Contents

Marketing communications strategy, basic elements of marketing communications. Means and special features of different marketing communications tools. Personal selling, stages of sales process and planning sales operations
