Student time use and work load

The scope of the coaching process is 3 credits. 1 credit corresponds to 27 hours of work. The credits consist of a face-to-face meeting and an intermediate independent work.

Contents

The coaching process starts by exploring own professional identity using experiential pedagogy and identifying how our thoughts, feelings and experiences influence our choices and actions in interaction situations. In the final part of the coaching, we will continue to work on what we have learned into our own professional interactions and counselling work. In addition, different 'ways of work" will be built in a multi-professional group to support meeting clients and promoting their physical activity.

Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.

Participants in the autumn 2024 coaching process must have a degree in a SOTELI field, such as a nurse or other care professional or, for example, a sports counsellor or other sports professional. Participants in the coaching process must work as a professional in the Päijät-Häme region.
