Lecture titles
1. Homes and houses. Design, architecture and life style in Finland.
2. History and identity. HIstorical monuments and cultual symbols in Finnish mindset.
3. Pulp Fiction.
- Political, social and economical dynamics in Finland.
-Sources of income and sectors of production and services
-Finland according the statistics

Lecture materials in the Moodle e-learning environment. Further reading and study materials informed during the lectures.

Uusintamahdollisuudet

There is no exam in this course. The evaluation is based on individual course tasks creared during the studies.

Sisältö

Finnish culture course offers an overview on Finnish cultural heritage, present society and economical drivers. The course consist of three lectures, one day excursion and group and individual tasks. Main goal of the course is to guide the students to find valid professional sources of information on issues dealing with Finland.

Active participation in lectures and an assignment.

• Attendance (80 %)
• An assignment - topic will be informed during the lessons and in the electronic Reppu learning environment
