Scheduled classes (a double class once a week) online via Teams until November 2021. After that, depending on the epidemic and regulations, classes on campus. Blended learning, both online and in-class studies. Theory and practice. Self-study, pair and group work.

Students are expected to attend 75% of classes (online and on campus) and actively participate in the learning activities. The compulsory assignments must be completed by the given deadlines.

- formal meeting procedures: chairman's and secretary's roles; opening, ordering, voting and closing; documents (agenda, minutes and memo)
- case studies, simulations and role-plays

This course will be taught online, through a combination of online Zoom lessons and independent work. There will be a total of 8 lessons delivered that students will be required to attend. Participation in the lessons forms part of the grade and two major assessments will be graded in online lessons, therefore student attendance is a must.

- Complete written discussion texts on current world issues and respond to the texts of other students

This course will be taught online, through a combination of online Zoom lessons and independent work. Students must be able to attend lessons and assessments during the day (vk18-vk21, vk23). Spoken, practical exercises as well as spoken assessments cannot be substituted if lessons are missed.

This course is taught at B2 level (CEFR). Students must come to the course prepared to engage in spoken group tasks and group assessments, using English as the language of communication.

The pace of the course will be quite quick, with a lot of information covered in a short amount of time. It is expected that students will be able to keep up with all lessons, homework tasks and assessment tasks.
