Learning outcomes

Implementation and methods of teaching
The course is completed remotely. The course topics are studied independently through a pre-assignment, course video lectures, other provided materials, and assignments. The development task of the course is to write an essay on the implementation, measurement, and management of digital transformation based on the given themes, and to create a visual and communicative poster presenting the results. The tasks are instructed in Moodle.
Timing and attendance
The course is completed remotely. The course topics are studied independently through a pre-assignment, course materials, other provided materials, and assignments. The learning task of the course is to write an essay based on the given themes and create a visual and communicative poster on the chosen topic based on the essay.
The teacher will inform the students about the course details via email through Moodle once the course is open and after that, the course sections will become available.

Basis for assessment: background essay, Moodle assignments, final essay and a poster based on the final essay; some tasks include peer evaluation.

Implementation and methods of teaching
The topics of the course are studied independently with the help of a preliminary assignment, video lectures, other indicated material, and assignments. The video lectures and material are mainly in English. As the development task student groups will create a plan for a company to implement, measure, and manage digital transformation. The course is aimed at students at an advanced stage of their studies.
The course will start with an independent pre-assignment on 26.8. The course will include collaborative distance learning and remote supervision from 9-12 on 12.9, 25.9, 9.10, 30.10 and 13.11.

Timing and attendance
Admission to the course
- Students will be admitted to the course by 22.8.2024
- Those accepted will then be sent an email with information about the e-learning environment of the course.
Preliminary assignment
- The preliminary assignment for the course will be available on Moodle by 26.8.2024 at the latest.
- The deadline for returning the preliminary assignment is 10.9.2024.
Collaborative distance learning for the course
- To be implemented using Zoom software
- The collaborative kick-off session will take place on 12.9.2024 at 9-12.
- The collaborative contact day will take place on 25.9.2024 at 9-12.
- Two coaching sessions will take place on 9. and 30.10.2024 between 9-12, 15 min/group.
- A seminar day will be held on 13.11.2024 at 9-12.

The recommended material will be announced in the Moodle implementation of the course.
Working life cooperation
The development task will be carried out for the workplace of a member chosen by the group.
