Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- describe the main tasks and working environments of a physiotherapist

- understand physiotherapy as part of rehabilitation and the client's rehabilitation process
- encounter the client comprehensively

Implementation and methods of teaching

The course is primarily implemented through independent study. In addition to individual and small-group learning, the course includes online workshop meetings where real-time, teacher-led learning takes place. The course also includes a home exam on the Moodle platform.

Timing and attendance

The course will take place during the spring semester of 2024 (weeks 7-21).

Working life cooperation

In this course, students gain insights into the various contexts in which physiotherapists operate, explore their professional responsibilities, and develop an understanding of the competences required for effective practice.

Exam retakes

Timing of home exam and possibility of repetition have been informed on the Moodle platform

The scope of the study module is 4 credits, which corresponds to 108 hours of student work.

- Online workshops: about 10 hours
- Individual and small-group learning: about 68 hours
- Home exam on the Moodle platform and preparation: about 30 hours
