The student is able to
- communicate in most common everyday situations
- understand slowly and clearly spoken Finnish provided the topic and the vocabulary are connected with their own life and experience
- understand the key idea of a simple message or text and write one by themselves
- master the most common vocabulary and some grammatical structures of Finnish.
