This course is meant for students at the secondary education level.

Student time use and work load

The use of time and workload corresponds to an online course of two ETCS study credits.

Contents

In this course, students will become familiar with the close relationship between humans and the climate.
- climate change, what does it mean
- the history and the current state of climate change and its impact on human systems
- climate change theory and climate science
- climate change as a sustainable development challenge
- mitigating and adapting to climate change

Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.

This course is intended for students in secondary education. If you are, for example, a student at a university of applied sciences we recommend that you do not take this course. We have another similar online course aimed at your level of education. This alternative course is titled "Climate change".
