Implementation and methods of teaching

This module consists of seminar-style learning, readings, lectures, tutoring sessions, independent study, group discussion, group work and web based learning methods like Podcasts, Video-communication based lectures (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.), Learning Management Systems (like Moodle), Cloud storage, etc.).

The lesson plan includes:
- The boreal forests;
- Forests and Forestry in Finland, Sweden, Estonia;
- The temperate deciduous forests;
- Forests and forestry in Germany and Austria;
- European Wood and Wooden products;
- Sawntimber-, Plywood-, Particleboard-, Fibreboard-, Gluelam-, CLT- production processes;
- Forest Industries in Northern and Central Europe;
- International wood trade from Nordic countries, Germany and Austria

Assessment criteria

Video about the complete supply chain of an exemplary company in the wood industry (approx. 15-30 minutes)
Achieving 50% will result in pass.
