Learning outcomes
The student is able to
• apply evidence-based knowledge of diseases requiring medical-surgical treatment at different stages of the treatment process
• assess the patient’s safe pharmacotherapy, fluid therapy and nutritional care in medical-surgical nursing
• assess the need for immediate care and make evidence-based decisions
• utilise evidence-based knowledge of customer-oriented teaching and guidance methods in committing customers to their treatment
• apply their knowledge of the most common internal diseases and cancer.
