Implementation and methods of teaching
Online course.
Timing and attendance
This is an online course. An Info session is on Zoom on October 28 at 16.00. Exercises, assignments and tests are to be completed through Moodle according to the time plan. A Moodle exam in week 51. The instructions for the assignments are all in Finnish.
Learning material and recommended literature
Self-study materials and assignments on Moodle.
Exam retakes
Failed written assignments or test can be retaken twice during a year (12 months) from the end of the course period. Consult with the teacher to discuss a retake plan.
Learning environment
Online on Moodle. Email for communication between the teacher and students.

3 x 27 hours, the workload is spread evenly during the course
Contents
Revision of essential grammar: verbs, nouns, sentence structure, adjectives and prepositions.
Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.
The course is targeted at students whose grade for English at the matriculation exam was lower than C, or students who have not studied in senior high school (lukio) or whose level of English is below B1 according to the Common European Framework. The course is taught at level B1.2/B2.1. This course cannot be included in compulsory language studies. The instructions on Moodle are in Finnish.

Written assignments, tests and a Moodle exam are to be completed successfully as specified by the teacher.
