The student is able to:
-understand the main points and some details of a clear, near-normal-paced, general language speech or written text of general comprehension
- communicate, take part in discussions and express their opinions fairly easily in everyday work-related communication situations
can cope with routine work-related encounters and can take cultural aspects into account in your interactions
- communicate the main points as well as details on topics related to your profession
- use a fairly wide range of vocabulary and structures, including some common phrases and idioms
- have a deeper understanding of the working culture and customs of the Spanish-speaking world.

Timing and attendance
The course starts on Monday 23rd of September (Moodle page opens)
The Zoom meetings are on Thursdays at 13-15 (the dates: 26.9., 3.10., 10.10., 31.10., 7.11. and 14.11.)
The compulsory attendance in at least 50% of the Zoom meetings.
The exam is open in Moodle between the 1st and the 30th of November.

Contents
In the "Spanish 5" online course, you will study Spanish for the workplace. The topics include workplace situations and, for example, applying for a job or internship in a Spanish-speaking country. The content focuses on business, but it is also suitable for students from other fields. The grammatical structures covered include imperative and negative forms (imperative and present subjunctive), conditional sentences, and expressions for the future.
After completing this course:
- You will understand the main points and some details of clear and nearly normal-paced general language speech or general written text.
- You will be able to communicate, participate in discussions, and express your opinions fairly effortlessly in everyday work-related communication situations.
- You will be able to handle routine work-related encounters and consider cultural practices in your interactions.
- You will be able to convey the main points and details about topics related to your profession. - You will be able to use a fairly extensive vocabulary and range of structures, as well as some common phrases and idioms. - You will have a deeper understanding of the work culture and customs in the Spanish-speaking world.
