The student is able to

Implementation and methods of teaching
Content consists of conversational classes and Moodle assignments.The main emphasis in class is spoken interaction and less on vocabulary practice, the aim is for students to come to class prepared.
Timing and attendance
Spring 2025. Compulsory attendance at 80% of lessons. There are only 7, let's make them count.

Student time use and work load
The course should be about 108 hours of work. Student's workload consists of attending class and completing written and oral assignments.

Things we will practice include:
- nurse/patient interaction
- anatomical vocabulary
- medical procedures
- workplace communication
- tools and techniques for learning beyond this course
- reading and writing professional texts

This course does not review English grammar. It is expected that the students enrolled in the course have an intermediate-level command of English (CEFR B2).
Assessment criteria
A number of assignments are graded on a scale of 0-5. Other assignments are pass/fail. Students must attain a passing grade (1 or pass) on all assignments to pass the course.
