Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- to apply digital tools in circular economy development projects
- to act as a responsible member of the team and use digital / online tools in project management
- to make a practical project and present results in a form of a digital online publication

The workload is 135 h (5 credits) and most of the work is done in teams and independently.
Contents
Hands-on project where students apply digital tools to a real or simulated circular economy challenge.

Prerequisites: Basic project management skills.
Assessment criteria
The course evaluation is based on the following areas:
Project plan and project work, 40% of the grade
Reporting, 50% of the grade
Team/self reflection, 10% of the grade

Does not meet the course evaluation criteria. Does not sufficiently participate in the initial lecture or mentoring activities and / or does not select an acceptable applied project or perform the required presentations and reporting relating to at an acceptable level.
Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)
Grade 1: The student is able to
- search for information from different sources and apply it as a basis for activities in the development project, as well as justify their choice of sources
- use professional terminology related to digitalization, circular economy and project management consistently
- identify the starting points, needs, and challenges related to the development project assignments and work purposefully and proactively in selected tasks according to their field
- work in a group and contribute their own expertise, taking into account the objectives of the client
- clarify the instructions related to different activities and act accordingly, adhering to the ethical principles of their field
Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student is able to
- evaluate, compare, and utilize different information sources related to the subject area of the development project
- use and communicate professional terminology related to the digitalization, circular economy and project management comprehensively to various target groups
- propose innovative and alternative solutions aligned with the chosen circular economy project to address the given challenges, and justify the basis, need, and appropriateness of the selected actions
- select with justification, the most suitable techniques, work methods, and processes as a foundation for their own and the group’s activities
- organize and guide actions related to the development project ethically, independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team, taking into account the objectives set by the target groups

The student is able to
- apply and select relevant sources of information for the project topic in a justified manner
- expertly use and communicate professional terminology related to the digitalization, circular economy and project management comprehensively to various target groups and seamlessly integrate them into cohesive units that serve the development project
- purposefully plan and develop chosen activities, techniques, and models in work-life-oriented development projects independently and responsibly, considering the needs of the client and target group
- take responsibility for the planning and agreed-upon actions related to development project tasks independently and as a team member
- promote the professional development of their own group and, if needed, other communities
