Implementation and methods of teaching

For the course, the student makes a work plan, which is discussed in a group of students with the supervising teacher. Students document their work in an electronic portfolio, which is completed as the artistic work progresses. The supervising teacher will meet the student approximately once a week during the period.

The course will end with a final review by the supervising teacher and the students doing the artistic work.

The content also includes independent visits to exhibitions, group and individual meetings with the supervising teacher and the Moodle learning environment.

Timing and attendance

Artistic work is primarily done on campus. Attendance at weekly meetings is essential.

An attendance guarantee can be arranged separately for open students.

Contents

Artistic work supports the development of the student's personal artistic skills. The course is a four-week integrated module of 5 credits. This represents approximately 130 student hours. Students will choose the four-week module of their choice between 2.9.2024 and 9.5.2025.

Instructions on how to choose a module will be sent to those registered through the Open University of Applied Sciences later in August.

As a rule, students are expected to work independently. Discussions and meetings will take place approximately once a week with the supervising teacher in person and/or in a group.
