Learning outcomes
The student is able to communicate in oral interaction situations at the workplace related to e.g. company visits. The student is able to compose work-related emails. The student knows the key features of German working life.
Implementation and methods of teaching
An online course.The students will work independently. Learning assignments are on Moodle. One oral assignment on Zoom at a time to be agreed with the teacher., final exam in the electronic system.
Timing and attendance
The students can start the course between 7 January and 25 April 2025. The assignments are to be completed by 30 May 2025.

Contents
Proficiency level B1.
During the course, the students independently complete at their own pace listening and reading comprehension assignments, vocabulary and grammar exercises, as well as produce texts in speaking and writing. The topics include presenting oneself in professional situations, receiving guests at the workplace, agreeing on schedules, work emails and work calls. The students will practice the following structures: n-declension, pronounal adverbs, conditional, the passive voice, relative sentences, and prepositions that require a genitive.

German for Work 2 or corresponding skills (proficiency level A2.2)
Assessment criteria
Learning assignments completed successfully. Final written exam (0 to 5) in the electronic examination system. One oral assignment (0 to 5) on Zoom at a time to be agreed with the teacher.

The knowledge and the skills of the student are on commendable level in relation to the learning expectations. The student can communicate laudably in written and spoken way in simple communication situations. The student can perfectly apply learned things to new communication situations.
