- identify and use the course vocabulary and phrases for common everyday situations
- tell about oneself and understand basic questions
- read and write simple sentences related to the course topics.

- common everyday expressions and vocabulary
- introductions and personal details
- family
- also vocabulary/situations related to paramedic/nursing studies
- some basic grammatical structures
