• is able to tell about his/her skills
• understands short texts related to job search
• is able to communicate in situations related to job search.

Implementation and methods of teaching

This is an online course on Zoom.Sessions will not be recorded.
The exam is in the Exam hall on campus.

Timing and attendance

The course will be organized during two periods.

Active participation on Zoom sessions is required. The course cannot be completed independently.

The course content is as follows:

- Social situations at the workplace
- Typical workday
- Basic vocabulary for working life
- Education and professions in Finland
- The basics of job search
- Own education background and skills

Structures:
- Imperfect and perfect tenses
- Comparison (comparative, superlative)
- Passive voice

Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.

Finnish 4 or equivalent skills.

Continuous evaluation
Exam in the first period in the Exam hall.
Assignments to be assessed in the second period.
