4 ECTS, equivalent to 110 hours of work.

Contents

Topics of relevance to the nursing profession, for example, getting around the hospital, health interviews, anatomical words, nursing procedures, various symptoms and illnesses, medication and treatment methods, giving instructions to patients.

Conversation practice and simulated client interaction; reading articles; giving a presentation; writing assignment, tasks in Moodle.

A number of assignments are graded on a scale of 0-5. Other assignments/tasks are pass/fail. Students must attain a passing grade (1 or pass) on all assignments/tasks to pass the course.

Spoken and written assignments completed by deadline and accepted.
