Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- analyze an assignment from a client into goals and requirements of a design project
- design functionality and the user interface for a mobile app
- present design concepts using visualizations and prototypes
- produce the documentation needed for the production of a design
- take part in the design and production phases in their professional role.
Implementation and methods of teaching
Lectures, discussions, presentations, individual and group assignments, individual essay, corporate client project in groups + personal process diary.
Timing and attendance
Timing 08.01.-28.05.2024. 75% attendance required. Absences will not be compensated, but the day's assignments will be returned by the due date.

Study and lecture material as well as a bibliography can be found on the course's Moodle implementation.
Working life cooperation
Possible assignments from business clients and/or RDI projects.
Exam retakes
No retake (there is no exam).

Contents
The studio deepens the professional competence of a user interface and experience designer in planning and executing a software development project.
Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.
This course is part of the compulsory core studies for second-year bachelor's degree students of user interface and experience design. Requires basic knowledge of the Figma.
Assessment criteria
Assessment scale: fail, 1-5. 40% business client project, 20% process diary, 20% essay and 20% learning tasks and class activity.
