The student is able to:
- basics of wood drying
- Industrial wood drying and its processes
- firewood and its manufacturing process
- basic wood drying invoices
- targets for wood drying in different applications
- other methods of drying wood, drying defects
Implementation and methods of teaching
Student will learn:
- basics of wood drying
- basics of thermowood process
- wood drying defects
- testing of dried and thermowood handled products
- possible laboratory works: kiln drying/thermowood handling
- possible company visit to Sawmill (drying process)
