Timing and attendance
During the course, it is essential that students monitor each other's progress, and mid-term critiques/discussions are held to assess the progress of each student's work. Attendance at critiques.
Contents
Different ways of making moulds are explored, starting with simple breakable plaster moulds. Learn how to make a plaster mould that allows you to reproduce a sculpture.
During the course, you will make plaster moulds, plaster casts and small-scale type metal casts, and explore the possibilities of ceramics, glass fibre, vinamold and silicone in casting processes.
The course starts with a short theoretical discussion and sketching ideas.
