Learning outcomes
The students are able to
- use knowledge of usability psychology and best practices in their design work
- choose, design and implement interactivity in a context savvy way
- recognize common interaction styles and patterns in graphical user interfaces and platforms
- analyze interaction design and explain design choices orally, literally and visually
- utilize user information in design.
Implementation and methods of teaching
Course contains both lectures and self-studying days. Course constructs of a series of seven themes with their related exercise assignments. Self-studied themes are completed weekly with assignment deadlines.

Assessment criteria
Course grade is calculated as a sum of assessed performance in lecture exercises, self-performed assignments and quizzes, bigger practical work exercise and lecture activity. Attendance requirement on lectures is 80%.
Grading scale is 1-5.
Approved / Failed rating can be used if student's personal performance can not be assessed reliably or performance doesn't meet the requirements set for the course's learning objectives.
