Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- create a professional portfolio for different purposes
- use a portfolio as a promotional tool
- use a portfolio as a means of developing their professional profiles
- assess other professionals' portfolios.
Implementation and methods of teaching
Face-to-face teaching, lectures, possible visits, exercises / working on your own portfolio, discussions.
Timing and attendance
At least 80% attendance requirement for the teaching sessions.
Learning material and recommended literature
The learning material will be distributed during the course.
Alternative completion methods
Any optional mode of delivery must be negotiated with the course teacher.

1op = 27 hours. 5op = 135 hours.
Contents
Design and implementation of a professional work sample folder. Review and evaluation of existing portfolios. Preparation of a professional CV.
Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.
1st and 2nd year of vocational studies completed.

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student has attended the required classes.
The student has participated in the mid-term reviews and critiques of the portfolio.
Exercises completed.
Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student has attended the required classes. The student has participated in the mid-term reviews and critiques of the portfolio. Exercises well completed. Performance in the exercises and course participation indicates good skills.
If the assignments are returned late, the grade will be reduced by one.
Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student has attended the required classes. The student has participated in the mid-term reviews and critiques of the portfolio. Exceptional performance in the assignments. Performance in the exercises and course participation indicates excellent skills and knowledge. The student has shown professional initiative in his/her work. If the return of the assignments is late, the grade will be reduced by one.
