Osaamistavoitteet

The student is able to
- carry out comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) and support the functional capacity of an elderly person
- work as an expert in a multi-professional working group
- apply evidence-based treatment recommendations in the treatment and guidance of an elderly client
- assess and implement pharmacotherapy for an elderly client and guide the elderly client and their loved ones with safe pharmacotherapy
- lead his/her own actions according to the sustainable development principles
- assess the care of an elderly person, justify his/her own actions and those of the work community from an ethical perspective
