After compliting the course, student
- is able to communicate mainly written in Spanish in basic business situations and understand the business culture of the Spanish speaking countries.
- is able to tell according to choise about, business culture, business communication, meetings, banking, applying for a job in the Spanish speaking world.
- is able to use conditional, subjunctive and future.

Implementation and methods of teaching

Independent study. Exercises. Instructions in Spanish.
A part of the exercise tasks is selected for the tasks, which are evaluated after the return.

Timing and attendance

Time-independent study until the last return date, which will be announced at the start of the course. Can be done on 1. and 3. period.

Individual written examination in EXAM room, contact the teacher or Oral examination through Teams.

After compliting the course, students are expected to be able to communicate mainly written in Spanish in basic business situations, and understand the business culture of the Spanish speaking countries.

Business culture, business communication, meetings, banking, applying for a job in the Spanish speaking world, according to own choice.

Assessment criteria

Learning assignments and written or oral examination.

After returning the tasks: Personal written exam in EXAM or oral interrogation by Teams. Please contact the teacher by e-mail sari.parssinen@lab.fi. Exam questions will be based on your completed assignments.

The student does not master the content of the course in an acceptable way and is unable to convey the message orally or in writing.

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)

The knowledge and the skills of the student are on mediocre level in relation to the learning expectations. The student can communicate on mediocre level in written and spoken way in simple communication situations. The student can partly apply learned things to new communication situations.

The knowledge and the skills of the student are on good level in relation to the learning expectations. The student can communicate well in written and spoken way in simple communication situations. The student can principally apply learned things to new communication situations.

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

The knowledge and the skills of the student are on commendable level in relation to the learning expectations. The student can communicate laudably in written and spoken way in simple communication situations. The student can perfectly apply learned things to new communication situations.
