Learning outcomes
The students will
- understand speech and texts related to occupations, work and job search
- are able to tell about themselves and their skills
- are able communicate in basic situations related to job search.

Implementation and methods of teaching
Online meetings 1 to 2 times per week: oral exercises in pairs and teams.
Independent study: reading and listening comprehension, vocabulary, writing and grammar exercises as well as information search assignments.
Online course, a working network connection, camera and microphone are required.
Timing and attendance
Classes in weeks 44 to 50. Schedule in TimeEdit.
Written exam in the electronic system in weeks 51/2023 to 02/2024.
Oral exam in week 50.

Contents
The students will be able to understand texts related to school and studies, occupations and tasks at work as well as job advertisements. They will be able to tell about their skills and work experience and to write a simple cv.
The students will increase the command of basic structures: revising the use of perfect tense and prepositions, modal verbs in simple past, reflexsive verbs, subordinate clauses, genitive case, conditional forms and adjective declination.

German 3 or equivalent skills

- oral exam or grade based on continuous assessment*: pass / fail (*precondition for continuous assessment: active participation in 75 percent of the classes)
