Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- define their professional profile
- set goals and develop their professional profile accordingly
- produce a portfolio for postgraduate studies or job-seeking purposes

Implementation and methods of teaching

- Personal, past, present, and future-oriented professional reflection tasks, which the student will do remotely during the fall of 2023 at her/his/their own pace. All assignments are returned to Moodle.

Timing and attendance

- The student can request personal guidance time (remotely or face-to-face) for viewing the portfolio and reviewing the professional profile, as well as for sparring. Note: contact times are not meant for thesis guidance.

Learning material and recommended literature

- All necessary materials are distributed on the course's Moodle platform

Student time use and work load

The student is estimated to spend about 135 hours of work for the course. Working time includes optional personal guidance time, reading and watching the materials, reflecting, doing and returning assignments, and feedback.

Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.

- The student should have passed a portfolio course or have a professional portfolio published
- The student should have at least some professional practice / internship experience or work experience in their own field
- The student's professional and in-depth courses should be completed.

PASSED

All course assignments have been completed. Based on the assignment feedback and activities, it can be stated that the student

- knows how to define her/his/their own professional profile
- develop the professional profile in a goal-oriented way
- produce an appropriate portfolio of own skills for further studies or job hunting

FAILED

Not all course assignments have been completed. Based on the missing or incomplete assignments and activities, it can be concluded that the student

- does not know how to define her/his/their own professional profile
- does not know how to develop her/his/their professional profile in a goal-oriented way
- does not know how to produce an appropriate portfolio for further studies or job search
