Learning outcomes
The student will be able to
- read easy texts on familiar topics and communicate in an understandable and appropriate manner
- understands the importance of learning Finnish and develops independent language learning skills
- develops the written and oral skills required in the care sector at his/her own level.
The proficiency level for language studies is A1.3.
Implementation and methods of teaching
Practical language learning in the classroom and independent studying, teamwork and workshops. Contents of the course are studied mainly with functional exercises.

Active participation is required.
