Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- survey the impacts of the EU on reduction of carbon emissions in the future and analyze their consequences
- describe current and future opportunities for climate change mitigation in urban settings
- search for information and scientific research results concerning climate change topics
- develop applications of mitigation in urban settings
Implementation and methods of teaching
The online programme will be held on the following days (4 hours/ day) 20th Jan, 3rd Feb, 17th Feb and 10th March. Before the studies students need to prepare a pre-course assignment, during the meeting day presentations concerning the topic are presented and commented on, after the course students will be required to provide an individual assignment.

The lecture material and other study materials will be provided in Moodle together with all instructions and assignments to be completed.
Student time use and work load
The whole course is 5 x 27 hours in length, from which the contact hours make up 16 hours.

Evaluated material: pre-course assignment, active participation in group working during the intensive period and an individual assignment after the intensive period (or compensatory assignments).
