Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- communicate clearly and effectively in different generic and field-specific workplace situations both orally and in writing
- find, evaluate and use information effectively
- function collaboratively in international working environments.

Implementation and methods of teaching

Content consists of conversational classes, online video and text tutorials and online spoken and written practice.

Timing and attendance

Course begins with a compulsory opening lecture on week 33 - available remotely, recording also available. Other classes, available only in person, are held on weeks 34-39. Scheduled work concludes week 39. Final deadline for submissions is end of week 39.

This course does not review English grammar. It is expected that the students enrolled in the course have an intermediate-level command of English (CEFR B2).
