Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät

Content consists of classroom instruction, online video and text tutorials, and online spoken and written practice.

Ajoitus ja läsnäolo

Course begins with a compulsory lecture on week 16 - available remotely, recording available. There are five compulsory classes on weeks 17-19. Scheduled work concludes week 19. Final deadline for submissions is end of week 19.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

The course should be about 108 hours of work. Student's workload consists of attending class and completing written and oral assignments. The pacing of work is controlled by the student.

Conversation classes with conversation practice and simulated client interaction.

Readings and videos relevant to student profession, professional writing practice, professional speaking practice.

This course does not review English grammar. It is expected that the students enrolled in the course have an intermediate-level command of English (CEFR B2).
