Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- describe the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics
- recognise the causes and effects for internal balance problems in economy
- understand the special features of labour market
- describe the reasons and consequences of economic fluctuations and the central channels of influence in economic policy
- understand the basic functions of foreign exchange market
Implementation and methods of teaching
6 online sessions ( 3 x 45 min. ),
Written individual assignments based on online sessions.
Assignment pack based on literature uploaded to moodle.
No exam !!!
Everything will be gone through in the first online session !!!
Timing and attendance
Academic year 2022 - 2023; Spring term 2023.
The course begins on week 11 and last online session will take place on week 16.

Weekly online sessions ( 6 ) via Teams.

- the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics
- employment, unemployment and labour market
- macroeconomic problems and economic policy
- foreign exchange market
