Implementation and methods of teaching

The course contains video lectures, participation in Zoom sessions, searching for materials from sources, and assignments.

Timing and attendance

Autumn semester (2 credits) in November and December 2023. Spring semester the course continues in January and February 2024 (3 credits). Video lectures on your own time, Zoom meetings in schedule.

Learning material and recommended literature

Most of the materials will be in the Moodle platform, you have to search for information according to the assignment instructions.

Supply Chain and value to the business
Basics on warehousing and transportation
Basics of procurement

Assessment criteria

Assignments will be graded either pass/fail or with grades 0-5. Activity in Zoom lectures and discussions in Moodle has a positive effect on a final grade. Missed deadlines will affect a final grade in a negative way.

A student can explain what is supply chain management and has basic knowledge in the field of supply chain management

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

A student can apply concepts of supply chain management in the field of business.

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

A student can define and manage processes of the supply chain. The student knows how to apply concepts of supply chain management in the field of business.
