After completing the course, the student
- is able to use the basic structures and vocabulary necessary for work and study life introductory situations
- can present oneself and tell about oneself orally and in writing.
- knows the basic rules of pronunciation
- knows the basic differences between formal and informal communication
- is able to ask questions and express preferences.
- knows the basic structures: verbs’ present tense, articles, prepositions of place, prepositions à ja de, personal pronouns, structure
expressing ownership, prohibition, questions, numbers 0-69.

Implementation and methods of teaching

Practice of written and oral skills, assignments, immersive teaching, independent work.

Timing and attendance

Contact teaching 28 lessons. Assessment of oral language skills based on continuous assessment requires 75% active attendance or oral examination.

Alternative completion methods

Written (EXAM-room) and oral examination. Student studies the course content completely independent. Oral interrogation 15 minutes through Teams.Schedule a meeting (an invitation) in Teams for 30 minutes, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday -Friday
Written examination in EXAM room, link for enrollment available on Moodle. The time for interrogations is one month after the end of the course.

Pronunciation, introduction, self-expression, basic differences between formal and informal communication, asking questions, expressing preferences.

Structures: Verbs present tense, articles, prepositions of place, prepositions à ja de, personal pronouns, structure expressing ownership, prohibition, questions, numbers 0-69.

The knowledge ans the skills of the student are on good level in relation to the learning expectations. The student can communicate well in written and spoken way in simple communication situations. The student can principally apply learned things to new communication situations.

The knowledge ans the skills of the student are on commendable level in relation to the learning expectations. The student can communicate laudably in written and spoken way in simple communication situations. The student can perfectly apply learned things to new communication situations.
