Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student
- is able to use the basic structures and vocabulary necessary for work and study life introductory situations
- can present oneself and tell about oneself orally and in writing.
- knows the basic rules of pronunciation
- knows the basic differences between formal and informal communication
- is able to ask questions and express preferences.
- knows the basic structures: verbs’ present tense, articles, prepositions of place, prepositions à ja de, personal pronouns, structure
expressing ownership, prohibition, questions, numbers 0-69.

Implementation and methods of teaching

Practice of written and oral skills, assignments, independent work.

Timing and attendance

Distance teaching (in Zoom) 28 lessons. Assessment of oral language skills based on continuous assessment requires 75% active attendance or oral examination. Timetables: TimeEdit

Alternative completion methods

Written (EXAM-room) and oral examination. Student studies the course content completely independent. Oral interrogation 15 minutes though Zoom.Schedule a meeting (in Zoom) by e-mail, between 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday -Friday
Written examination in EXAM room, link for enrollment available on Moodle. The time for interrogations is one month after the end of the course.

Exam retakes

The time for interrogations is one month after the end of the course.Retake: Individual written examination in EXAM room, contact the teacher. Oral interrogation 15 minutes through Zoom, if needed.

Contents

After completing the course, the student is able to use the basic structures and vocabulary necessary for work and study life introductory situations and to present oneself orally and in writing.

Pronunciation, introduction, self-expression, basic differences between formal and informal communication, asking questions, expressing preferences.

Structures: Verbs present tense, articles, prepositions of place, prepositions à ja de, personal pronouns, structure expressing ownership, prohibition, questions, numbers 0-69.
