Learning outcomes

Proficiency level: B1

The students is able to
- understand German texts related to business, economics and sustainable development and masters the vocabulary related to the topics
- tell about the activities and economic development of a company both orally and in writing
- tell some key facts about the economy of their own country

Implementation and methods of teaching

The course is an online course with both individual assignments and pair and group work. Learning assignments are in Moodle. The course has online meetings in Zoom. For online meetings, the student will need a camera and a headset.

Timing and attendance

Scheduled assignments. The course has 4 joint online meetings, as well as online student meetings in pairs or small groups.
The course will start in week 37 and end in week 43.
Online meetings at 4.00 to 5.30 pm on the following dates: 15.9., 22.9., 13.10. and 19. or 20.10. (students will choose one of these)

Contents

The student understands texts related to business, economics and sustainability and masters vocabulary related to topics. The student is able to tell about a company's operations and financial development both orally and in writing. The student is able to tell key things about the economic life of their own country and gets acquainted with the features of German economic life.

Assessment based on assignments and participation in online work. Scale 0 to 5.
