The student is able to:
- describe the phonetic features of English
- understand the effects and importance of intonation and stress
- apply intonation and stress in their own speech
- know the phonemes of English and how to practice pronunciation independently
- understand and identify the differences between various accents and dialects of English.
Implementation and methods of teaching
Students will study the course material independently and submit assignments through Moodle.
Timing and attendance
Period 1 and 2, autumn term 2022. Online course, no attendance requirements.

All of the study material is provided by the teacher through Moodle.

The course assignments can be submitted at any time during the duration of the course, and the students may set their own deadlines. Grading takes place on specific weeks throughout the semester.
