Learning outcomes
Students will know the structure of the legal regulation aspects in the international business and they are able to describe and apply central rules of international trade. They are able to use the correct legal terminology and communicate with legal experts as well as to seek information on legal aspects of international business.
Implementation and methods of teaching
Campus class room teaching, virtual exam, essays and assignments.
Timing and attendance
Contact lessons cover theory and practical case examples.
Students knowledge will be tested with virtual Moodle exams. One exam is about legal framework of international trade law, another exam is about international trade contracts.

No pre-requirements.

Online exams.
Exam retakes
Re-examination starting spring 2022.
Student time use and work load
The course delivery assumes that students independent studying is approximately 45 hours.
Contents
Students understands the basic legal structure of international trade. Student is also able to apply fundamental principles of international trade.
Student is familiar with the legal terminology and is able to communicate with legal experts as well as to seek information on legal aspects in international business.
Student will also familiar with the core concepts of international contract law and how the contracts will be drafted.

Legal framework of international business
European Union and it's legal framework
International NGO organizations (WTO; ICC, UN and regional trade blocks) organizations
International contract law with special emphasis in the contractual aspects in corporations
International dispute settlement
Special legal problems in foreign business transactions
Case law examples
