Learning outcomes
After clinical training
Knows the risk factors for people with diseases and uses a variety of health promotion and guidance techniques to motivate clients to promote health and combat infectious diseases, and is familiar with the national vaccination program and traveler health counseling.

Assessment criteria
After the clinical practice the student is able to:
- Create a professional communicational relationship while respecting the client’s self-determination
- Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care by using methods that promote health
- Utilize different educational and interview techniques regarding/taking the client’s own resources into consideration when educating clients with different ages
- Reason the clinical decisions that have he/she has made
- Interpret the health problems and threats of both individuals and communities and support and encourage clients to take responsibility in maintaining health while taking sustainable development into consideration
- Implement infection control methods in school surrounding
- Understand the importance of multiprofessional networks and team work in client care
- Gain understanding in the cultural aspects of families and communities and to take them into consideration when planning care and education
