Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät
Content consists of conversational classes on campus, individual and group tasks, listening and interacting with audio-video material, completing spoken, reading & writing task and assignments.
Ajoitus ja läsnäolo
Weekly in-person classes are 75 % mandatory. Other work on Moodle and Zoom.

The course should be about 108 hours of work.
Student's workload consists of regularly and actively participating in classes, studying the course material, listening audio-video material, reading & writing texts, completing written and spoken assignments. Work is evenly paced throughout the course.

This course does not review English grammar. It is expected that the students enrolled in the course have an intermediate-level command of English (CEFR B2).

The student can perform well in varied communicative situations and can speak and write easy-to-understand English.
You have met the assignment requirements adequately. Work displays somewhat consistent and appropriate register. Content is somewhat effective and diverse. Your written texts have reasonably logical structure and are mostly cohesive. You may make minor mistakes in the style/genre of the text. You mostly construct sentences well although some grammatical irregularities occur. Your vocabulary is adequately professional and mostly appropriate to context.
In most cases you speak in a style appropriate to the assignment. You are able to interact with participants. Your performance meets most of the set expectations of communication need and you speak in a consistent manner.
