Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- obtain, utilise and assess R&D-related information and their sources critically
- follow the rules of ethical principles applied in all research activities
- use the most typical research and development methods of their own field
- write a scientific report and is familiar with the requirements for language and style and how to document the sources

Implementation and methods of teaching

Online lectures, exercises, independent working, thesis planning.

Timing and attendance

Contact teaching (30 hours) online (Zoom) during 19.4.-29.5.2022.
Participation in online contact sessions is obligatory.

Passed individual exam (grade 0-5), attendance at online contact teaching and exercises, completing homework assignments.

- a student reaches under 50 % of a competence level (exam)
- a student does not conduct online exam at all

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)

- a student reaches 60-69 % of a competence level -> grade 2
- a student reaches 50-59 % of a competence level -> grade 1

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

- a student reaches 80-89 % of a competence level -> grade 4
