- is able to perceive the effect of spatial illusion and perspective tools on the relationship between the viewer and the illusory painting
- knows the laws of the creation of the spatial illusion of painting
- is able to implement works using advanced perspective tools
Contents
The course is about studying the illusion of three-dimensionality in two-dimensional painting. Various solutions for representing the illusion of space are explored through the review of lecture material and example works.
The course involves one or more paintings and assignments from different perspectives. The works will be based on students’ own ideas, and on observation also.
