Learning outcomes

Student is able to analyse the international business process and the global environment: legal, political and cultural environment. Student is able to explain and analyse different theories of internationalization and apply them in empirical cases. Student is able to explain and analyse different phases in internationalization process and apply this information in empirical cases.

Contents

Student is able to analyse the international business process and the global environment: legal, political and cultural environment. Student is able to explain and analyse different theories of internationalization and apply them in empirical cases. Student is able to explain and analyse different phases in internationalization process and apply this information in empirical cases.

All assignments/reports shall be completed in time.

A student
- has learned the principles of analyzing international business process and the global environment
- is able to choose different theories of internationalization and partially apply them in empirical cases
- is able to explain and analyse different phases in internationalization process and apply this information in empirical cases
- is able to act as a team member within a proposal environment using in an appropriate level a few basic methods to support the internationalization process
- is able to somewhat participate in professional discussion of these topics

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

A student
- has learned to analyze international business process and the global environment
- is able to explain and analyze different theories of internationalization, to use the correct terminology and apply them in empirical cases
- is able to explain and analyze different phases in internationalization process, to use the correct terminology and apply this information in empirical cases
- is able to act as a team member within a proposal environment using in a good level a few methods to support the internationalization process
- is able to participate in professional discussion of these topics

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

A student
- has learned to analyze international business process and the global environment
- is able to explain and analyze different theories of internationalization, to apply them in empirical cases and to bring developing ideas
- is able to explain and analyze different phases in internationalization process, to apply this information in empirical cases and critically make proposals for further development
- is able to act as a team member within a proposal environment using in a competent level well-selected and justified methods to support the internationalization process
- is able to participate in professional discussion of these topics and shows decision making skills
