Osaamistavoitteet

The student is able to
- analyze and discuss contemporary phenomenons like urbanization and urban sprawl, transitions in urban areas and collaboration of professionals and stakeholders
- evaluate recent development and planning processes, their management and arrangement of participation in the processes
- reflect environmental issues from the professional point of view
- develop applications from theoretical background into practical situations

Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät

The course contains lectures, group work and student presentations and a small excursion. Lectures deal with the topics defined in the goals of the course. The course has own reppu implementation. Course tasks are a pre course task before the contact days, working during the contact days and a final task.

Ajoitus ja läsnäolo

There is an opportunity to follow the lectures online or listen the lecture recordings afterwards. If the student is not able to participate any contact days, it should be discussed with the teacher before the contact days.

Visiting lecturers from working life or from international partner universities are visiting the contact days.

Contact days are arranged in 23.-25.4.2019 from 9 am to 4 pm.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

The student has to work before the contact days and after them. The total amount of hours is 5 x 27 hours out of which the contact days cover 20 %.
