- analyze and appraise new guidance and interaction environments from the point of view of the client, availability, and effectiveness of care
- appraise the safety of Internet sources containing health information and the information security of electronic health services
- analyze and compare wellbeing technology solutions promoting health and self-care
- design client- and group-oriented guidance and training for virtual service environments

Sisältö

The course will introduce the student new guidance and interaction environments and from the point of view of the client, availability, and effectiveness of care. During the course the student will get to know and appraise the safety of Internet sources containing health information and the information security of electronic health services. The course will introduce how to analyze and compare wellbeing technology solutions promoting health and self-care. Student will get to know as well how to design client- and group-oriented guidance and training for virtual service environments.
There will be following parts in this course:
- assignments
- lectures and workshops
- teamwork focusing on working life cooperation - company or community visit
- simulation
- final seminar

Students are able to
- use information resources and find theoretical background for different guidance and interaction environments and from the point of view of the client, availability and effectiveness of care
- understand the significance of the safety of Internet sources containing health information and the information security of electronic health services
- understand challenges and possibilities promoting the health and wellbeing in these environments
- demonstrate awareness of the client- and group-oriented guidance and training for virtual service environments.

Arviointikriteerit: taso 3 (arviointiasteikko 1-5)

Students are able to
- understand, plan and implement holistic guidance and interaction in new environments
- understand, plan and implement the point of view of the client, availability, safety and effectiveness of care in new environments
- critically appraise theoretical knowledge of the safety of Internet sources containing health information and the information security of electronic health services
- promote health and well-being in client- and group-oriented guidance and training for virtual service environments.

Students are able to
- deepen their knowledge and skills on holistic approach of client- and group-oriented guidance and training for virtual service environments
- deepen their knowledge and skills on the safety of Internet sources containing health information and the information security of electronic health services
- apply theory to practice, co-operate with the working life
- apply theoretical knowledge, multiprofessional contexts and the practice to increase operation which is something essentially new
- evaluate and anticipate the outcomes and impacts of operations
